The idea of selling music and video on YouTube has been around since the mid-90s, and the company is slowly taking over from Apple in the market.
But now, Google’s own YouTube platform is looking to make it easier for creators to get their work on the platform and monetize it, starting with its latest update.
As part of the update, YouTube is adding a new channel management feature called Channel Manager that allows creators to organize their channels and share content with friends and family.
You can view this in action by clicking the “New Channel” button at the top of your profile page, then selecting “Manage Channels” from the drop-down menu.
From there, you can choose “Create a new account” from your account options and “Create your channel” from “Manages channels.”
You can also create multiple channels by clicking “More,” and then “Create multiple channels.”
As a YouTube creator, you’ll have the option to set your channel’s pricing and how many people can watch your channel.
You’ll also be able to add video content to your channel, though this can be an interesting opportunity for advertisers, because YouTube says you’ll need to pay for each video you post.
You can also use this new channel manager feature to make sure your videos are showing up in the top 10 most popular channels on YouTube.
For example, if you’re uploading an instructional video, you could see that your channel has over 10,000 subscribers, so you’ll probably want to make an effort to reach that number.
The new Channel Manager also includes new “ad content,” which YouTube says is intended for advertising purposes.
The feature lets you use the platform to create “ad-free” videos, which can be posted by third-party advertising networks, which YouTube credits to “Google’s commitment to the free and open internet.”
This means that YouTube is allowing creators to monetize their videos without having to pay YouTube’s creators.
You may have noticed that the default “ad” setting is set to “0,” but you can turn it to “1” if you want to show ads on your videos.
YouTube is also adding a “Video Manager” feature to YouTube that lets you view the latest videos from other creators.
This is important, because as the creators you’re sharing content with on YouTube get older, they may no longer have the resources they once had to keep up with new creators.
If you’re a fan of music and want to earn some extra income, this new feature is the way to go.
YouTube’s new channel managers can be a useful addition to those who want to monetise their channels on the new YouTube platform.
In this case, it could be worth keeping an eye on your YouTube ad revenue.
YouTube says it plans to roll out more ad-free options in the future.
