Bachelors degree students looking to hone their marketing skills in Melbourne can look no further than Melbourne’s first marketing course.
Bachelor of Marketing course (MBA) at the University of Melbourne takes students through three different areas of marketing, including online marketing, social media, and online sales.
In this week’s course, the students learn about:Brett, the company behind InstagramThe Facebook acquisition and the acquisition of the social media companyTwitter and the social network siteThe future of Facebook as an online presence for businessesFacebook’s acquisition of InstagramThe importance of social media to businessThe potential of Instagram to expand its audienceThe future for social media and the business of social networkingThe impact of social networks on brandsFacebook is looking to invest in marketing and sales, and Brett has been in contact with the university about the course.
The course will also include an internship opportunity.
“We’ve been getting quite a lot of interest from students, and we’ve had a lot more than what we initially anticipated, and I’m happy to say that our course is doing very well,” Brett said.
“There’s some pretty interesting things going on with Instagram right now, so it’s going to be a really great opportunity for us to have that internship.”
He said the course could be useful to those who have already got a Bachelor of Business, Bachelor of Management or Bachelor of Arts degree.
Brett said he was very excited about the opportunity to work with the University.
“I’ve always been passionate about the business side of things, and that’s why I’m really excited about this opportunity,” Brett explained.
“It’s something that I’ve been wanting to do for a long time, and it’s something I think a lot people would benefit from, and so I’m very excited to be able to do that.”
The Bachelor of Marketing program was established in 2008.
