Tehran — The Iran Oil Industry Association (IAIA) on Monday said the industry’s export capacity will be among top 10 global in 2019, ahead of the United States, China and India.
“The IAAI said its export capacity has reached a level of 8,000 barrels per day (bpd) in 2019.
According to the IAA, the oil exports in 2019 will reach $500 billion (1.5 trillion euros) with exports reaching Iran’s territory in a decade,” the IIAI news agency reported.
The agency also said that the country’s oil exports will increase by 30% in 2019 from the previous year, which is expected to be an increase of 20% from the total volume of exports of $100 billion (3 trillion euros).
Iran’s petroleum production reached 1.5 billion barrels per year in 2017.
